Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Project Manager to play a crucial role in the planning, organisation and execution of daily geological activities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate geological mapping and interpretations to inform mine planning decisions.
  • Conduct ore reconciliations as part of monthly and pit production reporting.
  • Collaborate with mining personnel to ensure smooth and efficient mining activities.
  • Create Short Term Geology models to guide mining operations.
  • Plan and supervise grade control functions across various pits.
  • Supervise Pit Technicians to ensure accurate geological data collection.
  • Promote a proactive approach to site safety procedures.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in an Open-Pit Mine Geology site based role.
  • Tertiary qualifications specifically relating to Geology/Earth Science.
  • Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months).
  • Proof of vaccination (Covid-19 Digital certificate issued by the Australian Government).
  • Manual C class drivers' license.
