Facilities Operations Specialist

We seek a skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to oversee the effective management, maintenance and lifecycle planning of assets and infrastructure within a diverse portfolio.

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of corrective and preventative maintenance, in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a team to develop maintenance strategies that support patient care and operational excellence across sites.

The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care. To succeed, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline, or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Services
  • Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally within healthcare or hospital environments
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management for maintenance operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in managing and optimising CMMS platforms

Additional requirements include:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
