**Project Finance Professional**

**Opportunity Overview**

We seek a skilled project finance professional to join our team in Sydney. Our practice provides comprehensive support throughout all stages of project development, from initial planning to operation.

Our team collaborates with clients to secure funding through various financial instruments and navigate complex financial transactions. We combine deep industry knowledge with a global perspective to help clients successfully bring projects to fruition, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

As a project finance professional, you will act for top-tier lenders and sponsors in connection with project, corporate, and acquisition financing mandates in the energy infrastructure and resources sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the closure of project, corporate, and acquisition financing transactions.
  • Coordinating internal teams across the global offices to achieve transaction closure.
  • Managing external counsel for local jurisdiction legal issues to ensure transaction closure.
  • Leading small teams to provide timely assistance/advice to clients.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful, you will require:

  • Admission in Australia or a Common Law jurisdiction.
  • PQE 2-4.
  • Experience in general banking finance, with broad exposure preferable consisting of a combination of project, corporate, and acquisition finance, syndicated and bilateral financings (both secured and unsecured).
  • A good knowledge of international finance law and analytical skills to navigate complex, cross-border transactions.
  • Highly organized and deadline-focused.
  • Adept at managing multiple work streams and delivering flawless work within short timeframes.
  • Personable and works as part of a team.
  • Adept at building professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and outside parties.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
