Project Finance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for supporting transaction-related processes and providing analytical expertise in project finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake financial analysis including P&L, BS, CF, EVA, and other financial metrics.
  • Prepare credit submissions, including new proposals, variation requests, and annual reviews.
  • Manage credit and financial aspects of project analysis, including financial analysis of companies, technical and operational appraisals, production of financial projections, security, and cash-flow models.
  • Develop and review financial models for business cases and build project models for new business opportunities.
  • Produce project finance ratings using internal rating tools and clearly articulate analytical opinions and criteria associated with project rating models.
  • Participate in monitoring existing investments, prepare regular monitoring reports, and conduct site visits, financial reviews, and other research.
  • Gather and analyze project-related information through research, due diligence, and independent inquiry.
  • Maintain updated knowledge and closely monitor projects assigned to primary account officers.
  • Assist in coordination of underwritten asset syndication and structure, execute, and close transactions with minimal senior team direction.

Assist the Team Leader as requested on necessary due diligence, research, financial modelling, preparation of credit proposal, and complete all other project-related matters as directed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years' experience in project finance.
  • Strong background in financial modelling, deal structuring, and infrastructure or energy sectors.
