This role is primarily focused on providing counselling to enhance the healthy functioning of individuals, couples, and families. Our service aims to provide education, support, and counselling for individuals, couples, and families to assist them in forming and maintaining healthy relationships.

  • We seek a skilled Counsellor who can assess client needs and provide appropriate brief intervention supports.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children and families with complex needs, such as domestic violence, homelessness, abuse, and schooling issues.
  • The selected individual should possess excellent case management and coordination skills, as well as demonstrated experience in intake, assessment, and case management.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, carers, families, and other service providers to ensure they receive the necessary support and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based counselling and group interventions.
  • Refer and assist clients to access appropriate mainstream specialist services and support groups.
  • Provide information and education to clients, carers, families, and other service providers.

We offer a comprehensive range of benefits, including

  • A competitive salary of AU$ 80,000 - 100,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Four weeks annual leave inclusive of a 17.5% leave loading.
  • Five days additional paid leave.
  • Twelve weeks paid Maternity Leave.

  • Study leave of five hours per week after two years of service.
  • Clinical and Management Supervision.
