Senior Practitioner Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Practitioner to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining high standards of clinical governance and professional practice across the organisation.

  • Provide expert clinical supervision and mentoring to staff, guiding them in their professional development and ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Contribute strategic clinical input, working closely with management and Service Managers to promote staff well-being and ensure ethical practice aligned with organisational values.

The successful candidate will be accountable, competent, and effective in providing professional supervision and clinical development support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with management and Service Managers to promote staff well-being and ensure ethical practice.
  2. Participate in or lead supervision practice meetings and communities of practice, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  3. Provide critical clinical advice on governance matters, ensuring that decisions are informed by evidence-based practice.
  4. Lead reviews of service quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the delivery of services.
  5. Assist staff with risk assessments and debriefing, providing support and guidance to ensure that all staff are equipped to manage complex situations.
  6. Contribute clinical expertise to new business opportunities and program development, helping to shape the future of our services.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The successful candidate will be able to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of clients, including those from vulnerable or disadvantaged backgrounds.

A relevant degree (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, FDR) coupled with significant high-level experience in therapeutic interventions, case management, or dispute resolution services is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision and mentoring, preferably in relevant settings.

Strong clinical leadership potential, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team while also functioning independently are key requirements for this position.
