Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide prompt, welcoming, and accurate information to the public, clients, and stakeholders regarding eligibility criteria, appointment scheduling, and services delivered by our organization.
- Call Handling: Control and direct all incoming telephone calls to the service, answering all patient or public enquiries, solving problems, or referring the call to the correct departmental personnel.
- Client Registration: Register all clients on our electronic client database, prioritizing and scheduling appointments for eligible clients as per our triaging and appointment provision guidelines.
- Administrative Support: Provide effective and efficient administrative duties, including maintaining accurate and confidential client records and general filing systems.
- Training and Development: Participate in onboarding and training of less experienced customer service staff.
- Financial Transactions: Raise client accounts, issue receipts, and perform cashier and banking functions, including setting up payment plans for clients and producing financial reports.
- Mail Processing: Process incoming and outgoing mail, including referrals from internal and external stakeholders.

Benefits- Competitive Salary: $64,125 - $68,925 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation contribution.
- Salary Packaging: You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a clinical dental environment is desirable.
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment. The following checks are to be conducted:
- Conviction checks in the following areas: crimes of violence, sex-related offences, serious drug offences, crimes involving dishonesty.
- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
