Job Summary

A skilled Maintenance Technician is required to join our team at Northbridge Recruitment. This exciting opportunity involves maintaining and increasing production quantity by performing preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairing various production machines.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Pneumatic devices and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, including design, fault finding, and modification on PLC programs. Additionally, they will assist in modifying program resulting in improving machine performance.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting electromechanical drawings and using this knowledge to perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and increase production quantity via preventative maintenance and fault finding
  • Carry out electrical repairs, including design, fault finding, and modification on PLC programs
  • Assist in modifying program resulting in improving machine performance
  • Read and interpret electromechanical drawings
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment
Requirements
  • Degree or relevant trade certificate (e.g. electrical, mechanical)
  • Strong hands-on skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Pneumatic devices and systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings
  • Experience in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility within the medical device industry
What We Offer
