We are seeking an experienced Skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and systems. Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain high production standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. You will work closely with production teams to address equipment issues and ensure minimal downtime. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment, including ovens, mixers, and packaging machinery.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

A competitive salary package is offered, including benefits. The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 AUD, depending on experience.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience as a Skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist or similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or maintenance.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
