Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, ensuring optimal output and product quality.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operation
  • Identify and rectify issues with production lines in a timely manner
  • Conduct fault finding and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule preventative maintenance and improve overall plant efficiency
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-moving consumable goods (FMCG) environment
  • Fitter, Fitter & Turner, or Fitter/Machinist qualification
  • Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, superannuation, and paid annual leave.
