Our organization seeks an experienced professional to join its Community and Policy Division as a Policy and Project Officer – Settlement. In this role, you will work closely with the Settlement team to support the implementation and evaluation of the NSW Settlement Strategy.

The team is responsible for leading and coordinating projects that support the strategy, providing advice to senior executives on settlement matters, and collaborating with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups to improve the settlement system in NSW.

This position involves working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop, manage, deliver, and evaluate policies, projects, and initiatives that align with the strategy. You will provide high-quality research, analysis, and recommendations to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes.

You'll be part of a dynamic team of seven professionals, working closely with Senior Policy Officers, other Policy and Project Officers, and Assistant Project Officers. The team environment is collaborative, supportive, responsive, and requires a detail-oriented and robust approach.

We're looking for someone with experience in project management, policy development, and stakeholder engagement, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent, and training.
