An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Payroll Professional to assume a pivotal role in our organization's payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process pay and entitlements accurately and efficiently in accordance with current legislation and organisational policy to ensure all employees receive remuneration that aligns with expectations.
  • Deliver high-quality advice and customer support to team members and managers through dedicated channels, including phone lines and email correspondence.
  • Collaborate closely with People & Development colleagues to deliver expert calculations, guidance, and solutions for payroll-related queries.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times while managing sensitive employee information within Human Resources and Payroll Information Systems.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills by managing multiple priorities under pressure, meeting tight deadlines without compromising accuracy or attention to detail.
  • Engage professionally with stakeholders across various teams, modelling values of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork in every interaction.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as required by the team or management to support overall business objectives.
  • Contribute positively to a safe workplace by taking reasonable care for your own health and safety as well as that of others who may be affected by your actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within payroll processes by identifying areas for enhancement and sharing insights with the wider team.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of systems and tools, including contemporary HR/Payroll Information Systems. Your experience and expertise will enable you to provide accurate and timely advice to our team members and managers.

Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience in payroll processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using payroll software and systems.
