The Strategic Workforce Planner will partner with Program Leadership and functional areas to identify future skills, competencies and pipeline needs required to meet customer and program requirements.

The role will involve developing a strategic approach to workforce management for MQ-28 Program that combines insights from workforce analytics, best practices and business strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating commitments across internal and external organisations to fulfill Workforce Planning strategy, and identifying risks and opportunities, developing associated plans and business cases where required.

The role will also involve leveraging integrated planning and workforce information to enable business groups and project team to understand workforce implications resulting from changes in demand and supply at a tactical and strategic level.

About You
  • Experience in developing and implementing workforce planning solutions within a complex environment;
  • Experience working within a Program or Project Management Office;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all workforce planning areas in accordance with accepted industry standards;
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to exert influence at multiple organisational levels;
