Job Opportunity Overview

The Queensland public service requires a strategic workforce planner to lead and enable policy and governance, engage stakeholders, resolve complex issues, and deliver government priorities for Queenslanders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop the department's next strategic workforce plan and align it with government objectives.
  • Drive leadership capability and engagement through coaching, mentoring, and skill development programs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver projects that enhance workplace culture, employee experience, and organisational capability.
  • Design and implement organisational culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support team members in delivering their roles and responsibilities within the broader program of work.
