About the Role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives within the Australian market.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving lead generation efforts, building strong commercial relationships with clients, and identifying new growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Drive lead generation efforts through market research, referrals, tradeshows, and other strategic activities.
  • Industry Representation: Actively participate in industry events and conferences to represent our brand and build a robust professional network.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with potential and existing clients, identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Prepare and deliver engaging pre-sales presentations and high-level product demonstrations.
  • Negotiation: Oversee the negotiation process, including scope, delivery, and commercial terms.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Reporting: Produce formal monthly reports outlining key activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
  • Sales Planning: Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales strategy plans.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in selling or procuring chemical products, preferably within the animal feed industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Professional Environment: Experience in professional environments with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: High level of interpersonal skills with excellent time management capabilities.
