Investment Manager Role

  • This senior role involves overseeing cradle-to-grave value-add real estate investment activities across various sectors, including logistics, self-storage, childcare, and life sciences. Investments can be structured in different ways, such as single assets, diversified portfolios, joint ventures, or investment platforms.

About the Position

The Australasia team has a deep track record of private equity real estate investing. The team is close-knit and passionate about delivering risk-adjusted returns for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex portfolios to deliver client outcomes, working with stakeholders, and overseeing investments from start to finish.
  • Generate investment strategies and continually assess them with a focus on risk-adjusted returns and performance.
  • Run and develop cash flow models and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis for potential acquisitions.
  • Lead preparation of memos and presentations for investment committee reviews in conjunction with other team members.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes with external and internal teams.
  • Track acquisitions, dispositions, and assist with the closing process.
  • Be responsible and accountable for investments within relevant strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ideally 6-10 years of direct real estate investment management experience at a top-tier private equity real estate fund manager.
  • Demonstrated investment track record in private equity value-add real estate investing highly preferred.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen backed by robust modelling skills.
  • Team player with good people management skills.
  • Technical Skills: extremely strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; strong quantitative capabilities, strategic thinking, and critical decision making necessary.
  • Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
