We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary paediatric therapy clinic in Macksville. As a Counsellor, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based counselling services to children aged 0–15 with a disability or developmental delay, and their families.
Job Description:
- Deliver age-appropriate individual and group counselling to children and adolescents (0–15 years).
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop tailored therapy plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Monitor, evaluate, and clearly define child goals to ensure service effectiveness and continuous improvements through regular review.
- Provide ongoing feedback through progress notes, reports, and discussions with families/carers in a timely and effective manner.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., ACA, PACFA, AASW, or AHPRA).
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver's license and ability to access own vehicle
- Negotiable rate
- Salary packaging benefits
- 3-4 days per week – permanent part-time arrangement
- Flexible hybrid work arrangement
