Paediatric Occupational Therapist Role

As a senior paediatric occupational therapist, you will be instrumental in shaping our services and driving positive change for young clients. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead, inspire, and mentor junior therapists, while empowering children to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to uncover each child's unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans to help them reach their goals.
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions focused on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
  • Document client progress and maintain detailed case notes aligned with NDIS requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior Occupational Therapists, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Paediatric services with a proven track record of helping children achieve their potential.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills, with a solutions-focused approach.
  • A passion for making a difference, commitment to professional growth, and experience supervising and mentoring junior therapists.
