Child Adolescent Therapist

The Senior Mental Health Clinician works within a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents experiencing mental health distress.
This role involves collaboration with other systems, including education, community services, and non-government organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, parenting, and group therapy sessions for children in crisis situations.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, educators, and community workers.
- Develop quality improvement projects to support clinical service development.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk management for child and adolescent populations.
- Relevant qualifications and current registration with professional associations.
- Extensive postgraduate experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents.
- Proven knowledge and skills in evidence-based treatments and family-based intervention models.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- An eligibility list may be created for future permanent positions.
- Up to 12 allocated days off per year, in addition to annual leave.
