We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team in improving clinical documentation and promoting quality patient care. As a key member of our healthcare services, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate coding, reimbursement allocation, and patient safety.
This position involves facilitating improvements to clinical documentation through ongoing review of inpatient records, identifying and correcting documentation issues impacting accurate DRG assignment. You will work collaboratively with clinical, nursing, and allied health staff at all levels to enhance clinical documentation practices.
The successful candidate will possess clinical experience in an acute care environment, formal qualifications in Health Information Management or Clinical Coding, and strong analytical skills to drive change initiatives. They must also demonstrate the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders and multidisciplinary groups.
