Exciting opportunity to lead innovative projects and grow a skilled team in the field of mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver technical solutions for gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure.
  • Mentor and collaborate with colleagues to build sustainable capability within the team and globally.
  • Oversee the delivery of quality project outcomes that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Contribute to client relationship management, business development and proposal preparation.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering with experience in water storage dams.
  • Experience across all project phases from identification to detailed design.
  • At least 15 years' experience in consulting with expertise in gate design, specification, and operation.
  • Knowledge of risk assessments and dam safety inspections or condition assessments.
  • Able to work effectively in multi-disciplined teams including geologists, structural engineers, hydraulic engineers, and electrical and civil engineers.
  • Strong client relationships and project team management skills.
