Live Events Coordinator

At a suite of live entertainment venues, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to join our operations team. As Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering event plans efficiently and effectively in accordance with established procedures.
- Effective delivery of event plans including box office operations, bar management, cash handling, client hospitality, venue setups & turnarounds, cross-event marketing, event staff briefings
- Conducting and supervising regular venue maintenance, upkeep and presentation of the venue
- Liaising with agents, promoters, artists and clients at events
- Recruiting, training, grading and managing event staff, including food and beverage staff, ushers, box office staff, back of house staff, venue technicians and security suppliers
- Researching and resourcing events effectively and efficiently in conjunction with event bookers and senior management
- RSA management, cash handling, stock control and ordering
- Maintaining a safe working environment by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures
- Updating compliance documentation and reporting end-of-event information, security incidents and financial data
The successful candidate will have relevant industry experience managing or supervising live entertainment venues, managing licensed premises, with expertise in events for live theatre, comedy and/or concert productions.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and problem-solve quickly and effectively
- Leading and supervising staff and providing high-level customer service
- Computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
- Running bar operations and knowledge of liquor licensing laws and occupational health and safety
- Current NSW driver's licence
