Caraniche's unique High Risk Offenders Alcohol and Drug Service is seeking an experienced psychologist to provide community-based individual dual diagnosis mental health and alcohol and other drug counselling to complex and high-risk forensic clients.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver evidence-based interventions, support clients in achieving their goals, and contribute to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, client-centered services to individuals with complex mental health and AOD issues
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' specific needs and goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
- Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Tertiary qualification in psychology and registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current and valid Police Check and Working with Children's Check
- Relevant experience providing dual diagnosis counselling intervention and/or working with trauma and complex presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands
