Job Title: Civil Construction Site ManagerAbout the Role:The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring project construction activities are carried out safely and meeting quality requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure site safety and maintain a safe working environment;
  • Meet quality requirements of projects;
  • Complete site records such as daily startups, traffic management records, end-of-day checklists, risk assessments, sign-in sheets, toolbox talks, etc.
  • Consult with relevant employees/subcontractors to develop new processes when OH&S requirements change;
  • Liaise with the public and stakeholders;
  • Assist the Project Manager in keeping the project on schedule;
  • Report variations or site instructions accurately to the Project Manager;
  • Support safety and environmental incident investigations;
  • Act as site safety officer when required.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in delivering projects on time and within scope;
  • Operator experience is advantageous;
  • Reliability, motivation, initiative, and a strong safety commitment;
  • Physical fitness for manual labour;
  • Leadership skills for managing small teams;
  • Ability to work hands-on within a team.
