Job Title: Commercial Building Site Supervisor

The role of a Commercial Building Site Supervisor is to oversee the construction of commercial properties from start to finish, ensuring that every project is completed on time, to the highest standards.

This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage all on-site activities, with strong leadership skills and excellent knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and supervise daily on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Manage contractors, tradespeople, and laborers, ensuring clear communication and adherence to project plans
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with design specifications and timelines
  • Oversee safety compliance and enforce all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues and keep projects on track
  • Prepare and submit daily site reports, track inventory, and ensure proper use of materials and equipment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in commercial building construction
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications include a Diploma or Degree in Construction Management or a related field, as well as experience in managing commercial building projects, including office buildings, retail complexes, or industrial facilities.
