Production Team Leader Required

A key role in driving process improvements and leading a production team is available for an experienced Senior Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on product, equipment, and best practices to the production team, demonstrating expertise as a process expert
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing support to operators in areas such as fault finding, defect analysis, and line set-up
  • Train new operators on department procedures and best practices, assisting with writing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements
  • Own the validation of process control, CCPs, and critical safety and quality equipment, ensuring up-to-date validation and calibration
  • Act as a deputy for senior leaders when required, assisting with special projects

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG/manufacturing
  • Experience leading a team
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Basic computer literacy with a willingness to improve computer skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic to intermediate MS Office skills, with a forklift ticket desirable
