Job Title:

APJ Marketing Strategist

As an APJ Marketing Strategist, you will work closely with the regional partner sales team to identify and prioritize partners and how marketing should engage with them across APJ. You will design and execute programs to market enable strategic APJ partners, including communication cadence; product & sales training; events; collateral and campaigns.

You will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, drive alignment across functions, and ensure successful collaboration between cross-functional teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement joint marketing plans with strategic partners, allocating resources effectively to achieve measurable objectives and ROI.
  • Define and manage the APJ partner on-boarding process as it relates to marketing.
  • Identify case studies showcasing partner and end-user successes.

Requirements:

  • Core Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems that include OEM, Resellers, Referral Partners, specifically as they partner with a SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of the direct sales process, especially within an organization that supports a partner channel.
  • Experience working with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and System Integrators (SIs/GSIs) in a partnership setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas, new perspectives, and a wealth of enthusiasm coupled with a diligent work ethic and excellent time management skills.
  • Experience with Marketing/Sales automation systems is required (Marketo/SFDC preferred) with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
