Job Title

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fixed Income Operations Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to the Global Markets business by processing trade validation and settlement of fixed income products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Settlement and funding of fixed income, securities financing transactions, triparty repo, and collateral
  • Action settlement instructions across other products, including interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, and commodities
  • Perform manual SWIFT entries
  • Liaise with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including correspondent banks, clearstream, NZ clear, and Austraclear
  • Understand and perform daily reconciliations, ensuring all exceptions are followed up and resolved in a timely manner with adequate audit trails

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of fixed income, derivatives, and commodities products
  • SWIFT knowledge
  • Stakeholder management
  • Murex system knowledge
  • Experience with securities depository and custody portals
  • Continuous improvement mindset

We are looking for someone with:

A strong background in markets or markets operations, familiar with fixed income, derivative, and commodity products. The ideal candidate will be able to articulate complex situations clearly and possess excellent stakeholder management skills.
