About the Role

The APS3 Participant Support Officer will operate within defined parameters, providing specialized support for individuals with disabilities and complex needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing participant matters by actioning planning tasks.
  • Providing counter/reception support, resolving customer inquiries, and referring customers to appropriate services.
  • Coordinating appointments and ensuring facilities are accessible.
  • Undertaking research, investigation, and data entry activities, preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Receiving and recording complaints and feedback.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • Previous experience working in the Australian Public Services.
  • Ability to work autonomously or in local branches, with excellent organisational skills and ability to quickly learn new computer systems.

Note: This is a remote Federal Government role; only applicants with Australian Citizenship will be considered. Further security clearances may be required.
