Catering Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Catering Support Worker to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others while working in a fast-paced catering environment.
As a Catering Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality catering services to residents, ensuring that their dietary needs are met and that the service adheres to all regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with the Chef/Cook and peers to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment, following strategies to prevent cross-contamination and completing food safety record forms as per legislation.
Responsibilities:- Deliver excellent customer service to residents, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Prepare daily meals that meet residents' special dietary needs, using fresh and wholesome ingredients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (Healthcare Competencies) and experience in residential care, healthcare, or hospitality sectors.
You should also have knowledge of safe food handling practices and be able to work well under pressure.
