Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our Ultra High Net Worth Multi-Generational Families team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to our clients, focusing on post-liquidity families and corporate executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Client Engagements
    • Advise ultra-high net worth clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including wealth transfer, charitable, and retirement planning, and tax compliance.
    • Lead the engagement team focused on individual, fiduciary, gift, generation-skipping, and estate taxation.
  • Build Client Relationships
    • Anticipate client needs and collaborate with RSM colleagues in specialty tax areas and across lines of business.
    • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, centers of influence, and other RSM promoters through networking, thought leadership, and community involvement.
  • Drive Growth and Development
    • Participate in prospective client proposals and intentionally plan to build new client relationships.
    • Deliver exceptional talent experience by building collaborative teams, developing, and rewarding team members.
    • Participate in local and national committees focused on building technical expertise and strategic plans.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience working in public accounting, with an emphasis on private client taxation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field, be a licensed CPA, and have a strong understanding of individual, fiduciary, and investment partnership taxation.
