Senior Tax Professional – Advisory

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Leader – Advisory to join our Enterprise Tax team as a senior member of Group Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the business to identify and implement commercial tax advice, supporting ongoing business needs.
- Provide tax support and advice on international projects, investment strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and capital management structuring.
- Monitor and develop strategies to manage the Group's effective tax rate, including the global tax provision.
- Manage and oversee the R&D tax incentive program with support from finance teams and external advisors.
- Drive operational efficiencies and effectiveness through automation, process improvements, and ways of working.
- Mitigate tax risks and respond to business, tax, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Degree qualified with tax qualifications and CA/CPA equivalent, with a post-graduate qualification such as Master of Tax highly regarded.
- Significant relevant experience gained ideally from the Big 4 and/or similar roles in large multinational corporate tax environments.
- Proven commercial experience with a strong understanding of tax effect accounting and specialist taxation knowledge, including corporate and international tax, tax consolidation, tax treaties, and R&D tax incentive.
- Strong communication and advisory skills at all levels of a professional organization, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts in simple terms.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to influence others in achieving business objectives.
