Tax Advisory Leader

About the Role:
GHD is seeking a Tax Advisory Leader to join our Enterprise Tax team as a senior member of Group Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business to identify and implement commercial tax advice.
- Provide tax support and advice on international projects, investment strategies, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage the Group's effective tax rate.
- Manage the R&D tax incentive program with finance teams and external advisors.
- Drive operational efficiencies through automation and process improvements.
- Mitigate tax risks and respond to regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified with tax qualifications and CA/CPA equivalent.
- Significant experience in leading, mentoring, and developing a team.
- Proven commercial experience with tax effect accounting and specialist taxation knowledge.
- Strong communication and advisory skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
