Job Overview

This position involves overseeing the successful execution of civil and road projects, including those in the defense sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Regularly monitor project progress, making adjustments to resources, finances, and schedules as needed.
  • Commercial & Contract Management: Drive and support all contract activities, including managing contractors and reviewing claims.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the project team, conducting reviews and reporting on progress.
  • Financial Oversight: Control project costs against budget and monitor productivity.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in delivering major construction and infrastructure projects, preferably in civil engineering, roads, and/or defense. They will also have tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management, and strong experience in contract administration and management.

Necessary Skills:
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement effective project plans.
  • Contract Administration: Knowledge of contract law and ability to negotiate agreements.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Financial Analysis: Strong understanding of financial metrics and ability to analyze project costs.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
