Civil Engineering Project Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to lead our civil infrastructure projects in Adelaide.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience delivering civil engineering projects and be familiar with design for building, defence, and civil infrastructure.

The project lead will provide civil engineering services to various markets, delivering projects including civil infrastructure, roads, rail, buildings, water infrastructure, and land developments.

Key responsibilities include leading and overseeing engineering design, preparing calculations, technical specifications, streamlining deliverables, and preparing reports and proposals.

  • Lead civil engineering design, calculations, and reports/specifications.
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to manage and deliver engineering projects to specified standards.
  • Manage engineering teams to deliver project outcomes and scope within budgets and schedules.
  • Plan engineering tasks through concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, Design Manager, and Client to provide regular updates and prepare technically sound proposals and reports.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate with local and national colleagues to deliver engineering projects.
  • Review designs and documentation prepared by others and verify compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
  • Provide direction, mentoring, and support to the project team and Civil Discipline Group.
  • Assist in preparing bids and tender proposals.
