Are you a Mechanical Engineering professional looking to shape the future of a major new site? We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineering Manager - Mechanical based at Adelaide.

Job Description

This is a pivotal role in our infrastructure team responsible for setting the requirements of a new shipyard that will build and commission Naval vessels. As an Infrastructure Engineering Manager within the Maritime Business, you will be responsible for ensuring that infrastructure is delivered to the technical, cost and schedule goals in accordance with the contractual and company requirements.

Key responsibilities include establishing Mechanical engineering design, construction, and operational standards providing technical and functional leadership and direction, arranging design certification reviews with Chief Engineer, developing and maintaining technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines, and reviewing and approving Mechanical engineering drawings, calculations, and models.

The successful candidate will hold a significant demonstrable Mechanical engineering experience, ideally experience in building infrastructure, mechanical services including craneage. You must have a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant Mechanical engineering discipline and eligibility for accreditation as a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Significant demonstrable Mechanical engineering experience, ideally experience in building infrastructure, mechanical services including craneage.

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant Mechanical engineering discipline.

Eligibility for accreditation as a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia.
