This is a hands-on role that involves performing regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces. You will also be responsible for monitoring turf health and proactively addressing issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.
We are looking for someone with a passion for turf management, a keen eye for detail, and a dedication to environmental sustainability. If you have a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Turf Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.
- Turf Health Monitoring: Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.
- Sustainable Practices: Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.
