About the Role

Superior People Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Turf Maintenance Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage field service priorities and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and resourced service fleet vehicle, adhering to company standards.
  • Coordinate and perform various mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment.
  • Establish and maintain relevant service-related information to ensure effective communication with clients.
  • Provide product service training to clients as required, ensuring they are equipped to effectively use our services.
  • Establish and maintain a customer base, focusing on providing exceptional service to ensure the continued financial growth of the service centre.
  • Undertake regular internal product-based training to ensure OEM standards of service can be achieved.

Requirements

  • Able to work autonomously and in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines.
  • Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems.
  • A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License.
