Project Finance Director Role Overview:

Originate and execute transactions with a focus on renewable energy and infrastructure. Lead the credit submission process and build relationships across the market.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Originate, structure, and execute project finance transactions.
  • Take ownership of the credit submission process, including financial modeling, risk analysis, and internal approvals.
  • Lead client pitches and cross-border deal teams, collaborating with colleagues across global locations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor transactions post-close, ensuring compliance and providing ongoing client support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in project finance, with significant exposure to the Australian renewables sector.
  • Established local network across key players in the Australian project finance market, including lenders, advisors, developers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Solid industry knowledge across renewables and infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead complex transactions and generate compelling pitch materials.
  • Excellent financial modeling, credit analysis, and credit writing skills.
