Energy Transition Expert Sought

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our Energy Advisory team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with energy project developers, investors, financiers, innovators, and public sector stakeholders to deliver impactful M&A solutions that drive the transition to a sustainable, green future.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new business opportunities, including client relationship development
  • Identify key drivers and risk mitigation strategies, challenging assumptions about prices, asset performance, and portfolio construction
  • Lead transactions through their lifecycle, including financial modelling, diligence, financing, and negotiation
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for energy sector M&A transactions that align with client objectives while responding to evolving market conditions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a transaction role within an advisory environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in M&A, project, and corporate finance structuring
  • Deep knowledge of the energy market fundamentals, relevant technologies, supply chains, public policy implications, and general project development challenges and opportunities
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, engineering, and/or law is preferred
