Communications Specialist for Speech Therapy Services in Melbourne

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at HealthcareLink, providing speech therapy services across the lifespan. This is a full-time opportunity with a salary of $85K to $120K per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis role involves conducting standardized assessments, developing tailored therapy plans, and collaborating with parents, carers, and health professionals to support client goals. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Administering and analyzing speech pathology assessments to inform treatment planning.
- Creating comprehensive reports that document client strengths and challenges.
- Designing and delivering therapy plans that cater to individual needs and abilities.
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records using an online system.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A recognized degree in Speech Pathology from a reputable institution.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Excellent assessment and reporting skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective intervention strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or a valid exemption.
- A National Police Check and a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
