Roles & Responsibilities:

HealthcareLink is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a mobile business, we visit clients' homes, schools, and the community to provide Speech Therapy services. Our ideal candidate will have a recognized degree in Speech Pathology, current registration with Speech Pathology Australia, and the ability to accurately assess, plan, and monitor intervention in the area of communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with standardized speech pathology assessments
  • Complete reports concisely, documenting client strengths and challenges within initial assessments, NDIS review reports
  • Develop skills to create tailored therapy plans underpinned by strong clinical reasoning to meet client goals and provide home practice activities to strengthen progress made in therapy
  • Liaise with parents, carers, educators, and health professionals involved in the care of each client
  • Complete up-to-date client case notes using an online system
  • Show exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with our clients, team, and health professional alliances

Essential Criteria:

  • A recognized degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Ability to accurately assess, plan, and monitor intervention in the area of communication disorders
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption)
  • National Police Check
  • Driver's License & Access to a Reliable Vehicle
