Project Coordinator Job DescriptionJob Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging trades, technicians, scheduling, and managing budgets to ensure the timely delivery of projects to our clients.

The role requires close collaboration with estimators, technicians, suppliers, sub-contractors, and the finance team. You will report to a Team Leader and be responsible for:

  • Consistent and accurate administration and project coordination of small-medium restoration projects
  • Organisation and scheduling of appropriate trades/technicians/estimators
  • Cost management through claim life, handling of trade invoices
  • Strong focus on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Collating photos and other documents for submitting reports and quotations
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure efficient communication and regular updates
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in insurance repair coordination
  • A thorough understanding of the construction or restoration process, critical inspection points, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements
  • An understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation
  • A track record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships/accounts
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Proactive and outcome-focused
  • Ability to act independently and multitask
  • High attention to detail with excellent communication
