Government Grant Administrator

As a Grants/Assessors Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with various government bodies, learning and gaining exposure to their structures and processes.
The role involves administering and managing grant programs effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for building and creating new files for open and closed grant opportunities, managing complaints made by individuals or organizations regarding the administration or outcome of a grant program, investigating complaints, attempting to resolve them through mediation, and making recommendations to decision-makers regarding any necessary changes to the grant program.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in project management or grant administration, as well as strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will also need strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain impartial and objective when investigating complaints.
