**Job Description**
St John's Catholic Parish Primary School is a thriving, innovative, and student-centred learning community.

The school currently has an enrolment of 343 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively support the values and ethos of Catholic education.
- Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with St John's curriculum policies, documents and practices.
- Differentiate learning according to students' needs and abilities, and implement effective assessment practices and high-quality teaching programs.
- Demonstrate experience in NCCD requirements and school structures that support the gathering of NCCD data.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Use data effectively to inform teaching and learning practices.
- Work collaboratively, building genuine relationships in a team environment.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with students and parents.
- Show initiative and a commitment to ongoing professional learning.
- Receive and act upon feedback in a professional manner.
- Uphold the St John's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct.
- Coordinate PSG meeting and Liaise with outside agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current VIT registration.
- A current First Aid Certificate (or a willingness to complete one).
- A demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and have had previous leadership experience.
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools.
- Additional qualifications in Learning Diversity or Wellbeing (desirable).
