Casual Educator Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a casual basis. Our centre is committed to creating a welcoming and secure environment for each child entrusted to our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring child safety and wellbeing with active supervision.
  • Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
  • Providing personalised attention and addressing the unique learning styles and needs of each child.
  • Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
  • Participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
Requirements:

Available shifts: 7am – 6:30pm, 5 days a week.
Qualifications: Working towards or holding a minimum of a Diploma in ECEC (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
Skills: Valid WWCC, Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willingness to obtain), Working knowledge of NQF, EYLF and Child Safe Standards, Demonstrated passion for the Early Childhood sector.
