The University of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice-President, Advancement to lead a new portfolio, working across the university to develop and implement strategic fundraising programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to increase philanthropic giving to faculty-based priorities.
- Build and lead high-performing teams to promote a culture of collaboration and success.
- Engage and motivate diverse stakeholder audiences, including high-net-worth individuals, to secure philanthropic partnerships.
- Liaise with senior executives to influence and drive fundraising strategies, navigating budget planning processes and overseeing budgets with fiscal responsibility.
We are seeking individuals with at least 5 years of experience working in complex fundraising and university environments, with a proven track record of:
- Creating and implementing successful strategic fundraising programs.
- Building and leading high-performing teams.
- Engaging and motivating diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Liaising with senior executives to drive fundraising strategies.
