Associate Vice-President, Advancement and Partnerships

The University of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Vice-President, Advancement and Partnerships to lead a new portfolio, working across the university to develop and implement strategic fundraising programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead strategies to increase philanthropic giving to faculty-based priorities, maximizing the potential of alumni and supporters.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, promoting a culture that rewards individual and collective success.
- Engage and motivate diverse stakeholder audiences, including high-net-worth individuals, to secure philanthropic partnerships.
- Liaise with senior executives to influence and drive fundraising strategies, overseeing budgets with a high degree of fiscal responsibility.
We are seeking individuals with at least 5 years of experience working within a complex fundraising/university environment, who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience creating and implementing strategic fundraising programs, including identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts.
- A track record of building and leading high-performing teams, with the ability to promote a culture that rewards individual and collective success.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and motivating diverse stakeholder audiences, including high-net-worth individuals, to secure philanthropic partnerships.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with senior executives to influence and drive fundraising strategies, with a proven ability to navigate budget planning processes and oversee budgets with a high degree of fiscal responsibility.
