Kattsafe is seeking a proven leader to oversee inventory processes, ensuring system accuracy, maintaining optimal stock levels across all warehouse locations.

This new role plays a critical part in implementing and improving inventory controls, managing daily data integrity within the ERP and WMS, and driving improvements in efficiency and accuracy.

Working closely with the Logistics Manager, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team focused environment, not only ensuring, but driving improvements in efficiency and accuracy across all areas of the business.

Your role will be hand on, balancing team leadership with systems management, project delivery and cross functional coordination.

Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will help you work closely with Procurement, Finance, Warehouse and Production teams to provide insights, solve discrepancies, and lead inventory-related projects.

Your ability to prioritise and stay organised will support internal teams, ensuring a seamless flow of product every time.

Daily tasks could include:

  • Lead and manage all inventory control functions and systems across warehouses.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure system alignment between WMS and ERP (Infor).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, lead full stocktakes, and investigate stock variances.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Production to ensure inventory supports production schedules.
  • Own the Netstock system and support data hygiene in Infor, generating reports for key stakeholders.
  • Manage the RMA and inventory write-off processes, escalating when required.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, identify obsolete stock, and recommend process improvements.
  • Own Kanban maintenance by ensuring quantities are accurate, updates are actioned across departments, and all Kanban records remain current.
  • Train and support team members in inventory procedures and system use.
  • Engage in root cause analysis for recurring inventory issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

We're looking for a motivated individual with:

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a manufacturing inventory environment.
  • Proficiency in INFOR and Netstock with strong data management skills.
  • Experience leading or coaching team members in inventory or logistics functions.
  • Strong leadership skills to leverage and lead change across multiple departments and teams, ensuring buy in.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement across departments.
  • Ability to lead stock audits and reconcile discrepancies with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Outlook, and Word.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
  • Holds a valid forklift license.
  • Agile and adaptable with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
