Senior Employee Relations Advisor

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. As the peak body for independent schools in Queensland, this role will assist member schools with strategic planning, negotiation, drafting and approval of Enterprise Agreements in an industrial environment where relevant unions are key stakeholders.

About the Role:

As a senior advisor, you will provide written and telephone advice and assistance to school leaders on Employee Relations matters including compliance with the Fair Work Act, managing underperformance and misconduct, Award and Enterprise Agreement compliance, managing change and restructures, and ill and injured workers.

You will be required to visit member schools for bargaining meetings and develop strong relationships with leadership teams and other key stakeholders. You must be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Law
  • Knowledge of the education sector
